Minutes of a special workshop meeting of the Town
Board of the Town of Olive held Monday, June 26, 2000, 7:00 pm at
the Town Meeting Hall in Shokan. The purpose of the meeting was
to discuss the union contract negotiations and to review the
Ulster County Planning Board's recommendations on the proposed
wireless law.
Members Present:
Berndt Leifeld, Supervisor
Cindy Johansen, Council Member
Bruce La Monda, Council Member
Linda Burkhardt, Council Member
Member Absent: Helen Chase, Council Member

In the absence of the Town Clerk, notes for the
meeting were submitted to the Town Clerk by Supervisor Leifeld.
On a Leifeld/Burkhardt motion and unanimous board approval the
Town Board adjourned to executive session for the purpose of
discussing union contract negotiations. In addition to the Town
Board, Joseph Stein, Union Negotiations Committee member, was in
attendance at the executive session.
The Town Board reconvened the regular meeting at 7:30 pm at which
time Supervisor Leifeld introduced correspondence # 38-00,
referral response from the Ulster County Planning Board on the
proposed wireless telecommunications law. General discussion
occurred on the comments from the Ulster County Planning Board.

All business pertinent having been discussed the Town Board
adjourned at 8:10 pm on a Leifeld/Burkhardt motion.
